In 2001, I got served. I was a successful executive — banking, construction, biotechnology. I had built something real. Within weeks I was living in my airplane hangar, attorneys billing by the hour, accounts frozen, my children caught in the middle of a system that moves faster than most men can think.
I went to Barnes & Noble and bought every book on divorce I could find. Not one of them helped. Because none of them were written by someone who had actually been in that hangar.
